The Criminal Justice Committee is currently focusing on issues surrounding
early release of inmates, as it relates to providing programs in the prison before they return to the community. As it currently
stands, there are a number of inmates who return to the community without any type of program intervention. At the April
meeting Assemblyman David Parks addressed AB510, as it relates to a number of issues about the prison and how it affects our community. Prisons
and Education are the two biggest budget ideas in any state.
Committee meetings are held prior to the monthly program meeting. Please
